Language barrier (2)
แม็ก (mák) is stapler while ลูกแม็ก (lûk mák) is staple. Thai people often get confused with these two words because it is very similar. We also believed that these words derived from the English word for stapler and staple but it really isn’t. Therefore if a Thai ask you for แม็ก (mák) and ลูกแม็ก (lûk mák) just make sure to give them stapler and staples.
